I have not tried this up yet but this might work well . put a popup code in your site that shows up adsense ads alongwith small content . this might significantly boost your earnings as popup based ads have high CTR .
Yeah maybe it will work but then it may seem to be a disturbance in your site/blog since people think that pop-ups are viruses...
You may want to check to see if that's against Google's TOS. Also, any people think pop-ups are annoying so you may be hurting yourself more than you're helping.

wonder how people even remotely think about this as legal way to increase CTR. READ the TOS 100 times before coming out with these ways of improving your CTR. Pop-ups are against google adsense TOS. Darn!
I thought the same thing too. but it's against the TOS for sure, .No Adsense Popup, they said that somewhere in the TOS or FAQ pages.
To be excact, it's again the TOS to have pop-up with adsense only... If someone put a photo for example and adsense code in it, it's ok... Or a media player so his visitors listen to live music...
Moreover most of computers desktop have popup blocker, they will never see your ads. also against TOS. Why waste time and get banned from Google. Instead add content and submit your articles to article directory. thx
