    Hi

I would like to know if it's legal to have a domain in country related TLD's like adsense.nl or adsense.us etc...
Further please clearify if the word adsense is owned by google as a trademark?

Post your feedback or any other related info.

If G has a registered trademark in the country, then yes, you've got some major troubles. I believe where the site is hosted also has to do with this.

Drig, How to verify that if the G has a registered adsense as the trademark?
And isn't it like that the trademarks are global?

tonyrocks, thanks for just one more example.

If its an established country, Im sure google has a trademark. Dont register it and save yourself some long term hassle.

I remember a long time ago reading that someone had adsense.com but g couldn't do anything about it because they didn't trademark it or something. Or were the owners grandfathered because they owned it before google started adsense?

You might be surprised to know that one way to find out if a party has a TM
for a term or so in whatever parts of the world is to google for it. :D

It's not completely authoritative, of course. But it can give you some hints or
    a place to start.

For the other extensions, only way to know is to read up the fine print of their
respective Registries. (e.g. Eurid for .eu, Nominet, for .uk, etc.)

Don't register it. You will be put into unecessary hassles....
adsense is a TM and they can take it from you without any problem and if you are in US then they might file a lawsuit
