I know it is 100% against the rule to "install" a google search engine using your adsense code on toolbar. But is it okay to: 1)create a button as "search the way you like" 2)jump out a new window and new page(my page with a lot of search engine on the same page, adsense seach using your code) Is it against the rule? Or what if I create a web site solely for directory and search engine, and the "Home" button is connected to my "directory and search engine"?? does it violate the rule in this case? Or ... If you have a toolbar for your site, you can NEVER have a button that will connect to a page with adsense search. Which of the above is correct? Any idea?
Candle, I can suggest you just one idea - Open your email, write down everything you want to ask. Start the mail with "Hello", and end it with "Thank you". In the To: box put this mail addy - hit send, and wait for 2-3 business days to get the reply. your all queries would be answered. And not only that, that would be the answer you can always trust for adsense related queries. Good luck.
I had the same question ..asked google and they said: We kindly ask that you do not encourage your users to place links to your AdSense for search box into a toolbar. However, if a user does so on their own, it would not be a violation of the AdSense program policies. More here: http://labnol.blogspot.com/2006/02/latest-google-toolbar-could-mean.html
