Adsense together with affiliating

    Is it legal to have 1 or 2 adsense search boxes
    on a preselling content page which also has text or a banner on it
    which affiliates to a specific company by way of linking?

    Or is such competing adverstising not allowed and against web legalities ?

    Yes, you can use Adsense with other affiliate programs. Remember to follow all terms and conditions.
