Adsense tip to boost clicks

that makes sense. just looking at the image you provided makes me wanna click on the ads.

 

It's been more than 48 hours since I implemented this text/image ad method.

And I'm still not impressed.

My link unit still outperformed the text/image ad unit by around 80%.And, for some reason, I only earn 50% of my page eCPM amount, down from 80%. In other words, if I'm earning $0.80 for every $1.00 page eCPM, it's now down to $0.50 per every $1.00 eCPM. This has been going on ever since I added the text/image ad unit. My link unit's CTR hasn't changed, but that 2% is much better than my text/image ad unit at just 0.4%.

I'm removing them as of now. Too bad, since I had high hopes for this text/image ad placement. I'll try this on my non-performing sites, and will give more update.

 

Hmm, I never concern myself with ecpm, just with CTR AND CPC. The rest of the equation is just traffic isn't it?

Implementing this has helped get my CTR up at places where I had no or few clicks.

Also I have put up some good Adsense Tips that I came across DP / SPF and WMW over a period of time and I am sure that would definitely help as well. Useful Adsense Tips

 

For those that this is not working, you have to remember that its all about the context. What works for the OP, may not work for everyone else, depending on the niche, site, etc...

Its all about testing peeps.

I agree it is all about testing, always test to see what works and what doesn't.

I tried it on a few pages and there has been a definate increase in CTR.

Now I just need to change a few hundred pages on my site.

This has got to be the best adsense tip ever IMHO.
