I just wanted to make a comment on adsense revenue and patience. I have a 15-month-old website for which I was just reviewing its adsense revenue. In the first 3 months, I made about a $1.00, Over the last year, I have made $75.67, of which September's portion is $24.69! This month included my highest day of $4.50. Keywords for this site are low value normally .01 to .08 with the occasional higher blip. Note that September, 2006's revenue was a mere $1.87... My point here is, don't be discouraged with your short term results, if you have a website you believe in, give it time to mature in the world of search engines. Polish it, send out a press release or an articles or two. If it is of value, it will rise closer to the top and people will visit.
Yeah you're right, but some people are generally lucky. Some people start a website in an uncompetitive niche and generate a good AdSense income, some good enough not to even work. But every who earn over 0.01c a month should be happy, at the end of the day, it's more money, it's not like you have lost anything. Apart from that, congratulations buddy and I hope well for your income in the future .
I worked on it a lot during the first six months, getting the content in place and re-doing formats, but since then it has been, mainly, a hands off project as the content remains useful without needing to be updated.
it's a good point. adsense earning (in fact traffic) mostly depents on waiting and working for your site
I have a high paying keyword stock blog. I've been writing it for 2 years now and posted almost 400 articles. I make about $100-$150 a day with 10,000 impressions and a 2-3% CTR. For all that work my AdSense revenue sucks. Maybe I will post a thread for recommendations.
My MISTAKE I meant $100-$150 per MONTH not per day. I would be quite happy for a figure like that per day
I think thats very sound advice, i myself had recently found myself in frustration , and rightly so its very easy to fall into, as one reads, does all the right things and then is astounded because they have put in so much hard work and made no money, patience and time is one of the lesser talked about things in the adsense game but it is one of the most important i have come to realize recently. Raw Greed, i would be interested in taking a look at your blogs, just because thats how im trying to create revenue also and am always interested in how other bloggers utilized their niche
One thing I noticed is the less you check your AdSense earnings, the more money you make. Just work and forget about AdSense.
That, or you can get an Adsense notifier for Firefox so you can see the stats just by glimpsing down.
