Recently I applied and just few hours later I got mail saying I'm not 18, but the thing is I am. I sent them photo of my drivers license (I don't have a scanner, but details are clearly visible), however, I still haven't got any confirmation or anything else. So is there a way to get approved and make them know I'm 18 without waiting forever? At least how to contact them directly.
well, if you filled the details right on your application, then adsense cannot say you are NOT 18 as they dont see you. If for some reason they say you are not, then a government issued photo ID (drivers license is good enough) can prove your identify and age. since you already sent the ID copy, just wait to hear back from them. proving your age should not be difficult at all
Well I have YouTube account which I registered when I was 16 and it still says I'm 16, but that doesn't matter as I still haven't got any confirmation since I sent photo of my drivers license...
change the age on your youtube account, but I'm not sure they looked at this.. I don't understand how they can refuse for your age, on what basis do they know if you don't provide a Us national social security number, or the thing they ask for us resident, I've never read this reason for denial on a forum, you are the first I read talking about being denied because of age.
Well I saw some others with same problem in Google, didn't saw anyone having problem solved. It's impossible to change age on youtube. nd when yo ucreate new account it somehow auto-assumes your age for me. It's really annoying, so I guess only way would be to contact them directly, but how?
