Hi; Thought I shed some light on 'Making Money With Adsense, Realistic Expectations'.

Fact: Making money with Adsense is hard work that takes commitment, dedication, fine tuning, and a heap of luck.

Fact: I began my site 3.5 years ago. Worked my butt off to get rankings, wrote every single article myself from scratch, posted 10 to 15 articles per day every day. Was (still am) integrated with Twitter, Facebook, Blogger, Tumblr and a few other sites. Also have YouTube video and images.

The first year I did good if I made between 10 to 25 cents per day. But by the end of the third year (December 2012), I was up to earning $300 to $350 per day. I had over 300,000 visitors per month with an average page view hoovering around 5 million.

In January 2013 something changed ... on Google's end. My income has been going down consistently every day. Today (May 4 2013) I have earned a whopping 67 cents so far.

Yet I have not made any changes to my site, my layout, my design, my settings, my Adsense placements or anything else for that matter. As I have from the beginning I still write 10 to 14 articles every day from scratch - (How unique can you get?).

I have links coming in and going out. I have references to other sites and other sites pointing to me - authority sites I might add such as 'The Huffington Post' and ABC News. And yet, my site is slowly losing rank, traffic and income, despite my best efforts.

I am not the only one. Google made changes somehow somewhere. Of course its up to us to figure out what and that 'rework, rebuild, and retry'. Google is in charge, not us.

Expecting to make a living with Adsense is playing with fire because Google controls your destiny and if the internet giant decides tomorrow to put in yet another algorithm that throws everything out of wack once again, so be it.

Talking from real experience here: $20K in 15 days? I don't believe it. Unless they (?) spent a ton of money to get the traffic and the exposure. And in that case they may well be making $20K but they spend as much if not more to publicizing their sites.

Original good content, hard work, commitment, devotion, testing, reconfiguring, SEO, etc, etc, etc, are absolutely NO guarantee you'll make decent money with Adsense... not anymore; not today. I am living proof (well my site is). Google has grown up and has become smart, very smart.

Making good money with Adsense is still possible if you're willing to spend time and resources to figure out what works. Sadly, by the time you've done that, Google makes changes to its algorithms and you're starting from scratch once again.

Adsense; The Fickle Maiden, believe it!

You add new content daily. This is wrong especially if you don't add new content on a specific niche.
Domain and content must be relevant on almost 90% of the pages of your site. Otherwise your site and all the pages become a garbage in the eyes of advertisers then also search engines.
Keep your sites small with targeted content on a specific niche. Your site must be an authority on a particular niche if you want a stable revenue and much less work.
