When configuring your Adsense, do you pick both, text and image ads? Or do you pick one over the other... Is one better than the other? In regards to an average higher revenue per click, and CTR.
Same. Although in some cases I allow images, since most of my websites are for smart people, text makes more money for me
usually text ads convert better than image ads. there are some site where image ads would do well but in majority of the cases, text ads outperform image ads. if you are not sure, then you can test both and see which one works better for you.
i agree, text ads converts better. but if your site is about image gallery or video, then i think image ads would do well too.
It is depend on yourself. Some people might choose one image only and one text only to avoid duplicate ads. However, i personally choose either images or text
I always prefer to go with text ads, because they convert more for me. Image ads are often based on CPM, Thats the reason sometime poeple earn pennies withous clicks. So for me, text ads are better.

It depends on the niche and structure of the website. For some sites I use only Text Ads and for some sites I use both Text and Image Ads. Both works fine for me.
Both image and text ads are very okay. Everyone uses them so please go ahead and do so. You are not out of place.

I strongly believe it's very dependant on what sort of site your promoting, I think you also have to strike a balance and test for yourself, on some of my posts image ads convert better than text because theres more videos and pictures in the post it gets people in that area of thinking so they are more inclined to click a picture than seeing a bunch of links and vice versa for more text based posts. You really have to test it for yourself tho and see which works best for you, also keep an eye out on the payments for each clickthru, you may get less clickthroughs for text in some cases but more often than not they are higher paying than image ads
I select one or the other, never both in the same spot at the same time because I can't guage which is doing better if I do. Some spots do better with one, or the other.
That depends on the niche and contents; for me text ads fare better while I display image only ads where their presence matters.
