    text links are better than image.. i have read a lot of this in various articles.. going with experienced people.. i am not sure as i have not read such FAQ or doc offered by Google which says text is better or Image

    Generally, text links are better in performance than images. I set for both text and image. But text performs better than image.

    depending on your site niche text link could work better. Alot of people are blind to the adsense blocks or refuse to click.
