adsense tax?

    i just logged on to my adsense account and found out that i need to submit my tax information.. is it 100% required?.. is there any way getting around it?..and how does verifying your phone number works?.. thanks

    from my understanding, if you are a US resident you are required to provide google with your tax info.

    If you are a US resident, Adsense is required to report your income to the IRS, so it has to have your tax information.

    It depends on your annual income, but you have to pay local and Federal Taxes on any income earned. If you make more then a couple G's a year talk to an accountant
