I've seen this a number of times before, but this reallty is the kicker. G FREQUENTLY does not count legit clicks. There adsense center was down for period of time Sat and also on Fri and look at this BS of their tracking. Also, anyone else have Adsense Gold so you can see and prove they under-count?

    My tracking software says:
    mydomain.info pageviews clicks clickthrough rate
    5100 17 .33

It is true that my click through SUCKed for this. That is because most visitors can from a link that was highlighting a portion of the content of my page that was very trivial on that page. So does that mean G will just take away 1000s of clicks because my page must be "bad" or something. I was an article I wrote that had a VERY prominant link.

G says something a little over 50 and 3 clicks. My god I wish there was another game in town. G is so full of sh*t. I think Ad Logger is also good for tracking clicks. Others finding the same thing?

I even have the name of the ADS users clicked on! How can then underreport when I have the time and the name of advertiser. There is nothing unusual about the clicks and they are different IPs.

    Grrrrrrr

Remember, again, with Adlogger (not sure about Adsense Gold)... adlogger only tracks the times the user has "moused-over" the adblock. It cannot/does not record when an actual mouse-button-press is actuated over an ad, so the numbers you get off of AdLogger are purely, and only the number of times a user has 'moused-over' an ad.

Do not trust any of these tracking software. As long as your clicks are legitimate, Google will credit them. Also, adsense being down will not effect your clicks either.

Thanks for your positive thinking guys (or girls) but i've been at this long enought that I don't trust G as far as I can kick 'em or throw them (not far).

I know for a fact that they have "brown outs" when they don't credit clicks.

My own theory is that when they see clicks "they don't like" and think the advertisers are not getting enough out of them, they just wipe them from pub stats.

In my case, it's true that the click through was horrible. But I don't think that's a sign that content those that clicked weren't genuinely interested.

I do trust Adsense gold, but I don't know much about the other one.

Besides, i can always check my logs, and I don't see how there can be a discrepency of 1000s of page views. Ad trackers aren't that bad.

I have many sites. if I'm lucky, the one that G is BSing about, and I think they are, uses Orchid for stat tracking-- there own software and one which IS reliable.
