I just hit the $100/day marker yesterday. :)

The craziest part is that I have only really started using adsense 18 days ago.

I owe it all to the DP community where I have had the opportunity to meet many adsense geniuses who have helped me and continually encourage me to work at it.

Thank you all that have directly helped me and those that have indirectly helped me by posting adsense tips.

Before these past 18 days I never made more than $0.50/day. Needless to say that these past 18 days have been very exciting and full of hard work.

I can't wait to see how it continues to keep growing.

    "Thank you DP!"

That's amazing. How many ad views to get to that? If you don't mind answering.

See, I'm at that wonderful .50 threshold.

I get about 2100 impressions that generate my adsense revenue. Needless to say I have a high ctr. :) I owe it all to the DP and its members. I took all the good suggestions and tips(positions, images, unit type) i found in the forum plus a some guidance.

It is crazy and I still don't believe it. So far I am at $94.50 with 30 minutes to go. :)

Congratulations! I am getting way more impressions than you and I'm making way less so I am very impressed. Care to share any secrets?

Congratulations, I'm happy for you. I hope that you can sustain that and I really don't want to see one day you post again here saying that your account is being disable. I really love your site, that is the kind of site that build for visitors not adsense. But I'm afraid someone might not like your success....so just be careful :)

there are no real secrets. i am am just using the tips / hints i found in the forum.

So basically: on topic ads(keyword density of close proximity), above the fold position, positioned at the inital eye focus point, use of images next to adsense, integrating ads into design, & insufficient information(this one helped a lot lol).

    alang,

I know and that is the only thing I am afraid of. I keep hearing about people getting their account banned. I think if it is sustainable I should take shoemoney's idea of creating some corps to get new ids to start accounts on. as long as i make a profit after the annual $600 fee and tax the it will be worth it.

    thanks,

    juls

It sounds like a dream to me, lol. I get 2000 impressions and make about 2-3 dollars, and when I get 4000 impressions a day I get about 5. My site looks nice but perhabs I'd have to rebuild it for Adsense...

What do you mean by that ? Sort of incomplete info to make people curious so they click on AdSense there to read more ?

ya exactly. well the ads are on topic. the info is on topic but not exactly what they were looking for and the ad units gives them a way off the page without clicking the back button. heh didnt really make sense to me but seems to work it really drove my ctr through the roof.

    :)

That is one thing I learned about Adsense. You CANNOT give the web surfer everything. You need to give them just enough to make them hungry for more and let the ads do the rest.

I would be curious to see how your EPC holds up after a month or so. My CTR is nothing to sneeze at either, but the payouts always end up dropping and bottoming out after a few weeks, for each new page.

So let's apply the 80 20 rule of sales. One fifth of 2100 is 425.

425 clicks a day at 23.52 cents a click to make that money at a 20% CTR.

At a 10% CTR we have 210 clicks that's 41.61 cents per click.

Nice numbers if ya got um.

Nice work, extremely impressive #s if they are accurate. However, I have to say that I somewhat dislike posts like this. They perpetuate the "free and easy adsense money" myth.

Only 18 days of adsense, but how long have you spent on the sites, training, schooling, etc? A considerable amount of time, I would think. How much time do the sites take to maintain, etc?

Congratulations, but let's keep the expectations of newcomers reasonable :) Building a sucessful, long term publishing network is by no means a quick process (in my experience, anyways).

Would you mind posting a link to your Web site? I would like to see how you implemented AdSense. Couldn't find any ads on your Mosaic site.
