Google choose the ads, which are relevant to your website. You can't choose them yourself.

It would be good if it was possible to set up some specific ads/products to rotate in certain categories - triggered by the category keyword.

It would mean semi-relevant CB products could be displayed alongside content on normal sites rather than 1 specific ad always appearing to the same person if they had multiple pageviews in that category (or more irrelevant products being chosen from the CB category).

Ganceann, I am not sure if I have understood you good, but the site in my sig does rotate ads from categories you choose.

It was pixeladd that created the topic and I thought that he was wanting something like that where he could choose which products to select rather than having them all random.

Maybe I misunderstood what he wanted... but I don't have a site suitable to use those type of ads myself yet :p

    pixeladd,

On two of my other sites, www.thisawesomething.com and www.iliveinsuccess.com, I had programmed a rotating ad system, that mainly consists of creatives made for clickbank products, called Cansense. The thing is in comparison to adsense, is that you do not make money on adclick, but instead if someone closes on the ad.

here is how these ads look live, top left one is banner type, top right one is text scrolling type, and sidebar one is regular "contextual" ad ( you choose category, its not like they provide you with ads based on your content ) - Eminem Lyrics

no, but they are displaying their clikbank id on 50 % of impressions in free version. in pro its 100 % yours, and its 39.99 % for year. I think its pretty fair price, 1-2 sales

no, they cloak their clickbank affiliate id on 50 % of your impressions in free version, they dont take any cut from sales you make with other 50 % of impressions where your id is cloaked.
But as I said thats only in free version. in paid version 100 % of impressions is cloaked with your link, in both ads or clickbank store they provide you.

I use paid version, have all ad inventory with my link + I can use their affiliate program, that give you 50 % of all impressions of your 1st tier downline ( they dont take any impressions of your downline, all 50 % goes to you ) + 50 % of membership if they decide to upgrade to pro. Fair enough, I would say.
