i think google features the winners on their site (like case study or success story format) that gives the publishers some good visibility.
Yeah, I think it could be a great opportunity for those that have a good success story. The "swag" isn't the real prize, it's the visibility, like you said.

haha, they had the thread stickied at the Adsense Support forum but they removed it because there were too many people recanting their stories about being unfairly banned from Adsense. Seems Google has ticked off too many honest people recently with their banning frenzy.
