Adsense Stopped working!

    Hi everyone,

    My Adsense ads have stopped working and are now showing PSA's. I wrote to Google and they said it was because I have too little content on the pages and that I am only displaying image ads.

    The problem is this, firstly I am not showing image ads I am showing image and text and secondly the ads were working fine since June last year, So either something has changed in the the Adsense configurations back at Google headquarters or I am going mad!

    The site in question is www.just911cars.com

    Anyone else experiencing this problem? It just seemed to stop working last week. Does anyone have a page showing ads that shows similar amounts of content as I do?

    Any advice would be great as Google seem to be pretty clueless.

    Cheers

    To be honest, there does seem very little content on the site, however, google does seem to be very good at picking up ads even if very little content is showing. I am not really sure wht they are not showing an ads at this moment, however, I think you should perhaps add some real content ie.e some articles associated with your site.

    nice-looking site.
    I don't understand why this is happening, try to make sure text is not in scripts (javascript etc) and that you have some text of a bigger font size.
    The google-adsense code may read the small-ish text at the bottom as small "spam" text.
    Just a gues...
    If I were you, I would put something with the word "cars" in on your site but make the font size "normal" and make sure the sentence makes sense :D

    Thanks guys,

    I am just about to write some articles for specific areas of the site, in the Google email to me they state that it can take up to 3 weeks to start showing ads again. Is this true?

    Also I have change the Adsense campaign to a link one in the serviced car area (http://www.just911cars.com/servicing.php) and it now has a Google search box, only thing is that if you do a search for anything it always returns "Sorry! We couldn't find any ads related to your topic. Please enter another topic below." I get the distinct feeling that I am banned for some reason.

    Is it possible that Google now considers "911" a stop word, like "kill" and "murder"?? You might want to temporarily remove all references to "911" in text (not in graphics) and titles, to see if it helps. In my experience, removing a stop word restores normal ads instantly.

    Another approach is to find other sites that reference "911" and are showing Google ads. If it can be found, it might eliminate the possibility that "911" is a stop word.

    Defiantly not this, I have www.justboxstercars.com with the same problem. All my sites receive good traffic and are unique with unique car data on them. But interesting theory nun the less :)

    could you try adding a adsense box at the very bottom of your page, refresh 5 times (not too often and then wait until 24hrs have passed.

    PS. Wow, PR5!!

    I agree with 911 being a stop word. Definately test that one out. The site itself does look good, but you might want to add more content. It would help display a wider varity of ads as well.

    I was thinking about "911" being a phrase that might trigger Red Cross PSAs, especially in lighht of 9/11. Just a thought.

    This is a tough one. I see no problems with your site except for the very small amount of content at the bottom of the home page. You should be getting all sorts of Porsche ads. Try adding a bit of content at the top of your home page.

    Cheers, Going to add some content in a few hours. It sucks that I have to screw up the design of my sites to accommodate Google!

    Definitely so Gazzerman, there is enough
    quality content on the mentioned page.

    And for te rest it is a pity that you have
    to change the design as it is really good
    looking and such a very nice site.

    Do hope for you it will be sorted out soon
    and the ads of Porche will start appearing
    on this quality site

    Really? Thats strange. When I view the source on http://www.just911cars.com/parts_spares.php I can see this

    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx";
    google_ad_width = 200;
    google_ad_height = 90;
    google_ad_format = "200x90_0ads_al_s";
    google_ad_channel = "";
    google_color_border = "FFFFFF";
    google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
    google_color_link = "000000";
    google_color_text = "000000";
    google_color_url = "008000";
    //--></script>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"></script>

    Like I said earlier, it used to work just fine, strange!
