I have recently verified that one Adsense stop word is any variation of the word "kill" - killing, killed, kill, etc. It doesn't look like "murdered" is a stop word, though. Does anyone else have a list of definite stop words? Are four-letter words stop words?
Not sure about, but recently I noticed a site of mine having no ads showing up. I had the words "celebrity" and "celebs" on the page, maybe too often. I removed some of them and the ads were back next day. (The page has nothing to do with sex or erotic, btw.)
Chiara - Did you not read my disclaimers? 1- "Webmaster opinion" 2- "Pure speculation" 2- "Always changing" At one point, people were screaming that cancer and tumor were poison. I don't know. I have just repeated what others have said, although I have a little experience of my own - hence the list. Since my list is "not correct", perhaps you could direct me to a better one? My current opinion is that the "stop-word" problem is far smaller than it once was. At first, they came in with the howitzers. Overkill. Now it has cooled down a lot. I think that now MOST of the words on my summary list are now OK, if the context is normal and related.
Wow, hostile much, Surf Dude? I thought surfers were supposed to be all mellow and stuff. Like, catch a wave and relax, man. I said the list is not correct because it isn't. It wasn't a personal attack. Please don't take it that way. I use several of those words on my sites with no problem so I know they aren't stop words and I was sharing that with others. Now that you've got that little tantrum out of your system, I hope you have a nice day.
First site in my signature is mainly about celebrity drawings, it gets lots of ads. However, when the description of a drawing mentioned that the pictured dog had died.. instant PSA ads on the most visited page of the whole site.
