Adsense stats vs. statcounter stats

I recently compared my adsense stats along with statcounter's "Exit Links Activity stats".

Amazingly I found that there where many visitors who made their exit through the "adsense ad" but only few clicks show up in my adsense ad.

The Exit Links should be considered as clicks rite? Or am I missing something here. Plz. share your comments.

I am experiencing the same thing. I counted 22 clicks on the adsense ads through the Exit links that show my Google PUB number but are not getting reported by Google. These are all over 3 hours old. However, on another site, I had 2 exit link clicks and they were reported by Google! I'm not sure that the exit link is a valid or invalid click.

No Stats counters matter but google's.

Google will not verify the validity of any third-pary adsense tracker. just wait for google analytics to be integrated and then you can use that

Same here, I counted nearly 30 clicks on Statcounter but only counted 4 clicks on Google Adsense

I don't see a link in my statcounter account for "Exit Links Activity" stats? Where do I go to see this information? "Exit Pages" link?

I see it only for few of my sites. Maybe only recently added sites show up that stats. Try to regenerate the code and use the new one on your site.

Well, we only can make money with Adsense clicks, not Stat Counter clicks, right?

I agree with this too. Never looked at Exit Links Activity stats before but I see what you mean.
Google seems to be giving advertisers free clicks. Or keeping it for themselves. Nonetheless, looks like we are losing out. But again, nothing we can do against the big G.

Just had a thought. They cant be invalid clicks. I've have invalid clicks before and they ARE shown up in Google Adsense reports, but you dont get paid for them.

I have the same problem, I had invalid click, which show up as a click, but zero payment. Big G is makeing money off us in a bad way. Or stat counter is not compatible with big G.

Google Adsense only record and tracks activity "they think are valid".

even with these differences (i'm experiencing exactly the same thing) but we have nothing to do.
maybe adsense consider some of the clicks as illegal?

You should compare to google analytics with adsense.
