adsense stats question

    how does adsense track page impressions, my page was hit by 19 uniques, but adsense credited only 3 page impressions, now hit more couple uniques, but adsense show same 3 impressions. Are google stats not live or what?

    Nooo.. they arent live.. they are from 20minutes to several hours old.

    Another thing is, I believe that "Page Impressions" is the number of times an ad was shown on your page. I've seen a few times where my pages don't have ads on them (for various reasons).

    Also unique hits can be robots, so those won't produce any page impression stats.

    Yes, totally true, specially on new site with low traffic, when they need to be indexed etc...

    yes it could be, but not in this case because after delay stats are alright now

    Actually all hits to your site dosent result in impressions because the browser needs to be javascript enabled so non-java enabled websites will not display the ads.
