Ok, I typically have several computers going at the same time due to how I make a living... my google stats on one laptop were different on another laptop and the machines were no more than a foot apart.

Laptop A said 123.12 for revenue with 1234 for page impressions
Laptop B said 121.87 for revenue with 1220 for page impressions

I hit refresh on both machines and the numbers remained the same.

    Is that crazy or what?

Disclaimer - the numbers posted are not actual numbers, just examples.
Disclaimer A - I was not drinking, drugging or doing any other mind altering thing when this was happening.

I think that this may have to do with the LAST time you checked the stats on each computer. Were they different by 5 minutes or so?
I have noticed that when I "recheck" my stats TOO SOON, they do not update. I think there is a minimum time that you must wait to get an "update".

So, a true test might involve you checking your stats on each computer at the SAME TIME.
THEN, after a waiting period greater than 15 minutes, check them both at the same time AGAIN.
My bet is that you won't see any difference.
But I could be wrong, if something else is going on.

Along these same lines, I can check Google News on my Mac, and on my PC at the same time, and see different results. I don't understand that either. Maybe something "platform-specific", or maybe "browser-specific" going on? Don't know.

It could have been the "recheck too soon" deal... I hadn't thought about that.

Truth be told, that never even crossed my mind.

It may have to do with the ip addresses on each machine or the cache. No big deal, the only number that matters is the number on the check.

This has happened to me i think before. Or stats that had already changed going back to what they were previously.
