Typical appears to be the first 20 clicks done by early morning earn around $4. At 46 clicks, I'm at $6.49. I end up the day with over 100 clicks and around $7. If I were averaging what my day starts out like, I'd at least be at the $20 a day mark. What causes the amount of change so drastically?
Wow. Who tracks things by the hour. And for suck a pathetic amount. Honestly, go do something productive. The final Adsense Numbers are not posted until the next day anway.
i have always noticed this, and over the years I have seen posts from other webmasters seeing the same thing.. Although your downturn is pretty bad (worse than mine) .. Don't plan your daily earnings based off the first few hours ePC ..
I like looking at data and I just found that to be an interesting trend. It may not be meaningful or it might be - all in all, an interesting learning experience and figured it was worth at least posting up the question.
Times zones and who is doing the clicking has a lot to do with it. For instance I'm in the UK at the moment so, from my point of view, it seems as though I start the day slowly but end up with better and more clicks by the end of it, which I put down to the quality clicks being from the US when people get home from work or school - 5 to 8 hours later than in the UK.
CTR wasn't the basis of my question. I suspect there are probably a few "successful" people here who have done well for themselves using adsense. Apparently you are not one of them.
I'm lucky if I login to Adsense more then twice a week. I just don't remember to be completely honest =/ You need to focus your time on build more content. If you only have a single site, make a second one... fill your time up I've found that by keeping enough work in front of me, I don't worry about the earnings and let them take care of itself. While I work away. Now granted, when a new site is put up I'll check it daily, to make sure it's in a proper spot to get a decent CTR. However, once its going good, log out and build more content.
its all about the location ur content is being targeted and the time zone of that content and time when your visitors are most active
I agree with Astroman. It depends from which country are the ads clicked. You can have good US click at the start of the day and end with cheaper clicks from India.
It all depends on the advertisers. There isn't anything you can do about it. No about of tweaking your ads will change this. Just focus on your traffic. Those 100 clicks can go up to 200 clicks.
Such things happens buddy . May be the advertiser add which your visitors clicked in morning end up with their budgets and new cheap adds took their place .
