Hello DPians Have been following the threads for quite some time and would like to congrat every one for the great advices and tips. Am in process of starting an adsense cluster and would like to have an advice from pros here. Am thinking of starting around 10 sites cluster, each having around 100 pages of targetted articles and information about a niche market. Not very high paying keywords though, in the range of 3-4 USD (says Overture). Have a small target of 10 USD per day in next three months from the cluster. With whatever I could gather from the threads here, I am planning following: - Targetted keyword based domain names - Eye catching design, with pictures and stuff - Lots of contents (100 pages to start with) - One main site and other nine site have links to the main site - Anchor texts - Submission of all 1000 articles to the top notch 25-30 article sites - Adsense after a steady traffic of say 500 + per day on main site - Eventually e-book and affiliate recruitment/direct selling - Religiously follow Adsense ToS As I write, Looks like lots of work Few questions: - Is the plan any good? - Is 10$ target too low or too high? - Is the cluster theory workable? - Should I have one adsense account or multiple? - I am thinking of keeping main site on seperate hosting server and other 9 on one server, binding them with one adsense account. Is it ok? I am planning this as after reading so many posts of account freeze here, I want to avaoid keeping all the eggs in one basket. Any other suggestion would be more than welcome. The $10 target is perhaps a little too high, however, it will depend on the level of competition, your seo skills, etc.
You are allowed to have only one adsense account under one identity. And you use your account for all your sites.
My question is where are you getting the 100s of pages of content??? If its one of those premade adsense site things it is duplicate content... and will not get picked up by the SEs that matter. Next submitting duplicate content articles to article sites is a waste of time Nice plan though... Peace
$10 target is good in 3 months but as you'll follow all what you had said ,target may be increased to around $15/day
Well, the content is a mix of self writing and hired professional writers. The whole plan comes down to around 1000 USD at first go. So, its around 100 days of 10 USD each to recover them, if 10 USD is achieved. The next target is of course double the traffic and subsequent increase in the revenues thru adsense and other stuff. As for submission here, there may be thousands of sites around for submitting articles etc. I have a chosen list of aroudn 28 sites, which attract max traffic and are the major source of contents on other sites and RSS etc. More insights are invited in this theory.
Why submit your articles on your sites to article directories. If the content is indexed first on the article directories, then your content will be marked as duplicate.
Make sure your sites are search engine friendly and not waste too much time on the graphics design.. make sure the code is simple enough to replicate later.. also plan on the directory structure and naming (include keywords).. study SEO thoroughly and organise your content to make it pleasing for the SE. also make sure the internal navigation of ur entire site is friendly and easy for the normal web user.. get google sitemaps for indexing ur entire site.. don submit before you have all ur content up though.. generally for new sites it will take quite some time before it can have that pagerank and also the ranking won be that high.. continue building up ur pages and once done, submit to web directories and building up more content and the cycle repeats...hope that helps a bit..
I wouldn't submit any articles to article sites until your sites have been indexed by all the search engines. When your sites go live there could be a whole month (or more) of no activity so I would suggest uploading 5 sites first then keep working on the other 5. Then a month later you upload the remaining sites and go back to improving the first 5 sites. Use google sitemaps. You can make an easy XML sitemap at xml-sitemaps.com. I wouldn't bother with having a daily $ target - just try your best and the money will come your way. Also, see this thread for an excellent directory submission service: clickie linky.
