Adsense software that pulls live data?

    I have been looking around at adsense software and came across a couple packages. I tried one out, its flaky but does log in and pull stats from your adsense account. Does anyone know if these applications are built using some adsense API to pull stats or are they just HTTPS clients? Also, does anyone know if it's legal to write adsense software and sell it?

    There is a firefox plugin I use (adsense notifier) and afaik yes it does 'screen scrape'.

    But it's friendly, i.e. only checks every 20 minutes.

    Thanks! using it now. Its pretty nice. Now I don't know if I even want to build the software or not :) I would like to do a task bar thing that auto pops up every hour with stats without all the frills of some of the other apps. Just something simple.

    I like having my adsense earnings showing in my status bar on firefox. A quick glance and I know where things are at.. :)

    Yeah, The only drawback is you need firefox open. This can be a problem if you are at work reading email, programming software, etc. I am not usually in a webbrowser. Maybe it would be nice to have a popup from the taskbar every hour regardless of what app you are in. Thats my thought anyways.

    I have developed a program to get the live data from AdSense and make nice graphs. It will also update automatically throughout the day.

    When you use programs that aren't officially put out by Google and you put in your username/password, don't you run the risk of someone (the programmer) getting your information? Its a question.

    Probably..Yes..

    But if the programmer get your information, he don't need them (it's my opinion) because he can't change the name at the account info. he can change email and address but not the name of the owner..

    But, with DP Members I don't think that they propose fake scripts like this..
