Hi, Just a quick quesion - what sites generally do better from adsense? I have enough for another domain name, but I want a site that will do well from adsense. My directories aren't doing well from adsense.
I think websites where someone is looking to download, or buy something online, as they are searching and hence going to click through your site....
In general, the following types of sites don't do well: - directories - forums - personal blogs and unfocused blogs - technical sites (programming, languages, etc.) - gaming sites - video sites - celebrity sites There are exceptions, of course, but in general these types of sites don't do well.
Search Google for High Paying keywords if you want to make a MFA. Otherwise, go with any niche that suits you. Write original content and the traffic will flow.
Make good content, use that right keywords. Also don't write too long contents where the reader gets all the information and then wouldn't bother clicking on your ads for more information. Play with the ad placements as well. One in the first fold, and maybe one somewhere near the end of your content. Blend it, but not too much.
Yes, i think the directory site is not touch anybody to click. Me too. Except I do need useful information and can't find and see at anywhere, Then directory is the last place to go
Any single themed site is ought to do better with adsense as they fetch you targetted visitors and ads are relevant.
Thanks for all your tips guys! So far, I need opinions on these: - Proxy Lists - Download Mirrors - MFA Site
