It will help...some. Go into your "User CP" and set up your signature. If it's not showing yet in your User CP, it should be shortly. You can use this to get you going: Link to my site title
Notice the posts here at DP. When an individual submits a topic or replies to a topic, they may or may not add a signature to their post. Signatures are the links or "sayings" that are located below each forum user's post. Signature can be applied through the User Control Panel. You can get there by the "UserCP" link at the top of every page, if you are logged in. On the menu bar, located on the left hand side of the page in the UserCP there is a link for "Edit Signature". When you click that link, there will be a white space in which you can type in your signature. Say you have a website about widgets. Type Widgets in the white space. Then highlight the word you just typed by left clicking your mouse and run your cursor over the word "Widget" that you just typed. When the word is highlighted, click on the little blue and green ball thingy and a little window will pop up asking you to enter the URL to your website. Enter your website URL there and click OK. Your information in the white space should look something like this: Widgets[/URL ] If it's to your liking, click the "Save Signature" button at the bottom and you are finished. I believe your signature is shown by default.
