when you sing up with adsense it asks you for your website URL. what is that for? i mean , what if i put a URL that doesn't belong to my. or let's say that i don't have a web site, but i want to join adsense:D. hao will google figure out that this is not my URL?

It's generally for whatever web site you intend to place your adsense ads one. Google likes to review your site before hand to get an idea if they think it is a site that would befit both their ads and their advertisers. Most people tend to have more than one web site, so when I signed up, I listed the most popular site I had.

AdSense accounts are not instantly setup. Each application is reviewed by a real person. They would definitely find out. ;)

I don't think it would be worth applying until you have a site up and running. When you first build a site, it isn't likely to have much traffic anyway so you really won't lose any money by waiting until the site is live.

Alternatively just sign up for a Blogger account and get 10 to 20 posts over a week or so and then apply for it through Blogger. Some people think they get faster approval this way and it gives Google a site to look at.

Google knows all. ;) Not really, but if you try and deceive them like this, they will eventually find out.
