    Hey guys.

I have an automotive blog which has "culture" in the title. Instead of showing car related ads, my adsense shows ads about different countries cultures!! Is there any way to specifiy what kind of ads it shows?

The site gets a decent amount of traffic, but no-one was clicking the ads since they were totally irrelavent!

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Is there automotive content on the pages? If you just added the adsense it can take sometime to spider the text content on the page. As long as there is automotive text, the ads will update to the correct content.

This is not Good. maybe you should contact Google Adsense admin to report that problem. And put more automotive content at your blog for adsense to recognize that it's an automotive blog not a culture site.

The blog text is 99% automotive, but I've left the ads on there for quite some time and they still dont update. Only one of my pages shows the correct relavent ads. The ads mostly concentrate on the sites name!

somehow google thinks that culture related ads are best fit for your site since you have that word in your title. all you have to do is to use section targeting which will target the content of your site instead of title.

Create an adsense block that may help. If it is a new blog. give it a few days.

you need to tell adsense where to look - try the headspace plugin for WP that has an option for that
