Adsense showing targetted ads of wrong interpretation of primary keyword.

Hi,

I have a website that has the focus of "movie trailer music". I obviously want to show ads related movie, trailer, and music but a lot of times, adsense shows ads for "trailer cars".

It looks like it is catching up the primary keywords but adsense is showing the wrong interpretation of the word "trailer". What should i do ?

 

Use section targeting to make your ads more relevant to your content.

 

Section targeting is not going to work in this particular case. This is a challenging problem even for Google AdSense engineers to solve. In some ways their algorithms are just dumb.

 

I think it will get better with time as Google learns more about your site.
