Does anyone have any ideas why adsense would be showing image ads even when text only ads are selected? "Preview ad" also will only show image ads. I've tried this in FF, IE and Opera, cleared cache, deleted cookies etc. Any ideas on how to solve this would be appreciated. I've googled it, searched this and other forums and so far haven't found any solutions that work.
You need to change your browser or clean cache, also you might want to disable any plugins that caches Javascript or compress the codes.
Thanks all for the suggestions but so far its still just image ads. I've turned off all plugins, cleared cache, tried different browsers and waited up to 60 minutes for each change and still just images. Any other suggestions would be appreciated...
Thailand at the moment. I've tried generating new ads and new code. Funnily though I had 1 time when text ads appeared, then back to image ads and never again. Is there some sort of cache stored in the google adsense settings itself that overrides what I'm trying to do?
I think you should give it more time. I always check back the next day and the changes will be all set.
Dunno though, it's been 3 days since I posted originally and about a week of waiting/tweaking before that.
I contacted adsense support about 2 weeks then again 10 days later before posting my original question but as of yet no reply. I'm not really expecting a reply from them.
Recheck whether you are Selecting TEXT ONLY in the ad type. Or wait. As I have seen that you tried all the steps said above, there is nothing else than rechecking or wait till its corrected it own. Thanks.
