Hello Everybody: I had an idea a while back that was seeded by a post I read on a forum about sharing adsense ads on a site. The principle behind this idea is: If someone refers an internet user to your site, and that user has never visited your site before, you could display the referrers adsense code anytime the user visits your site. So say Mr. Widget refers Mr. Foo to ???.com. Mr. Foo gets a cookie put on his computer identifying him as being referred by Mr. Widget, and 75% of the time Mr. Foo visits ???.com, Mr. Widget's Adsense code appears. This would work as long as the site that shares the code is interesting enough or useful enough to bring Mr. Foo back. So I built a beta site that is a framed search engine site allowing users to search lots of search engines with just a few clicks of the mouse. I think it's pretty cool and useful enough to bring internet users back. Here it is: http://www.surferoo.com You can sign up to share code at http://www.surferoo.com/money.php. Basically the code sharing consists of swapping Content Ad publisher IDs in and out of the Adsense code as well as channel info which is optional. Check it out. Let me know what you think. I'd like to get some testers if possible. This site is in its infancy, so I'm really not sure what the income potential would be. It depends on how interested people will be in the program. Thanks, Ravi
Interesting idea...I'd like to check it out, but when I go to your site I get: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1
