Great info! I like that they will make the Adsense info available right in the interface.

I assume that 68% is the average and not the standard.

I also thought it was more, I think I heard that at one point it was closed to 90%

How are we suppose to believe what they write.
Google is the largest and most popular site worldwide.

It can take 90% and you wouldn't know.

This blog post is pure non sense and most people seem to buy it.

the 68% figure is not really new, it was always in the previous years found out more or less by public Google's financial statements.
Google just made it public because of a law action in Italy, not because they are transparent like they said in their blog post.

It doesn't mean you are getting 68% of what advertizers pay for clicks on your site, please don't be so stupid! Read and understand what they say.

In fact they say nothing at all, the only news is that sometimes in the future the percentage will be shown in our adsense admin.

But for the moment, we don't know if we are paid 20%, 50% or what. And honestly I don't care, I just look at my earnings.

That is about the same % I always guessed when I would bid on my own keywords from my adsense sites so it makes sense.

It may not be correct. As per studies 90 percent of internet users are directly or indirectly connected to adult sites. Google adsense has no adult ads. As this is the case the statistics of 68% may not be correct. I think it is about 38% :)

I don't think it as an average figure.

This is true. The revenue for adsense members has gone down just because the advertisers are bidding for too low rates. Adsense revenue has gone down by more than 60% compared to 1 year back.

Minimum bid is not the same as "How much advertiser pay for that click"
And this also refers to your "block all below 10 cents"
The bid may be 1$, but you get 5 cents for that click. Are you going to black it?
