Adsense shares 68% of revenue with publishers

In their most recent blog post Google says that it shares a generous 68% revenue with their publishers. Read more below

Some interesting points

1. Adsense for content revenue share is 68%
2. Adsense for search revenue share is 51%
3. The percentages have not changed since 2003
4. Over the next few months the revenue shares for AdSense for content and AdSense for search will be shown right in the AdSense interface.

Wow, that's a lot more than I had expected. Makes me proud to like Google.

Only taking 32% when many other places will take 50% is very pleasing to hear.

 

Wow i was like 101% sure that it's split 50% - 50%. Anyhow the release of this info after 7 years it's a sign that the big G might have some competition that affects adsense or just a generous sign of trust. Whichever the case it's good to know and i`m happy to stay with adsense for all these years.

 

hmm 68% any idea which advertisers should have invested more for adsense so that i can leech it

68% nice...I thought that it would be a 50-50 split too...or even more...

Yes I also expecting something 60-40 before this which means Google takes 60% but after reading this, it's really surprised me!

 

Before it was 80%, this will be very low for publishers. Many other publishers takes 80% of revenue.

I can NOT believe it!
What am I missing?
Minimum bid on Adwords is 5 cents (right?)
Revenue share of 68% means roughly 3.5 cents (right?)

Why do people (Adsense Publishers) report 1 cent clicks?

I don't care about revnue share percentage.
I personally, am more interested to have the choice to block for example cpc rate ads below 10 cent in my site.
