Hello. What option should I select from the following (adsense setup/allowed sites): Allowed Sites Use this page to identify the URLs that are allowed to display Google ads for your account. You can choose either to allow all sites or to list specific sites. [?] Choose your site settings: Allow any site to show ads for my account Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account Can someone explain the above to me? What is the difference, and what are pro/cons of any of them? Thanks!
Allowed sites: You can input domains that you want adsense to track clicks from - helps prevent fraud clicks from websites stealing your content, etc All other domains that you didn't put in the "allowed sites" if any clicks are made on the ads (which have your PUB ID) on them, will not be credited to your account.
Always use the "allowed sites" option and add your domains in the list without the www (just the domain name and extension). If you have any problems with "invalid clicks" and Google bans you, your chances of appealing and being re-instated are far better if you're using "allowed sites".
set Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account, but remember to add all your sites to the box.
