What's wrong with pop-ups? 1) They're annoying to me and 99.99% of users. 2) Google consides site with more than 3 pop up windows as a spam site.

Yes, that's what the message says. You are going to have to choose between the pop-ups and the Adsense ads - remove one or the other from your site to protect your account. You are lucky that they gave you a warning instead of just disabling your account.

McAfee says that paypopup.com "made unauthorized changes to our test PC" - so your pop-ups may be distributing viruses. See here for more discussion:

It's not just how many, it's whether the pop-ups contain malicious code - which some people have reported for paypopup.com ads. Even if it only happens in a fraction of their ads, if Google detected that it is against the Adsense ToS - and worse, you could be hurting the visitors to your web site. Do a search for information on paypopup with the terms "virus" or "spyware" and you'll see a bunch of hits.

You can always ask them too. I know in the past when I had a question they were more than helpful to answer. That was over a year ago though. Who knows now.

PULL YOUR ADSENSE IMMEDIATELY off the site. Google is very quick to shut people down after notices. After you do that read the TOS and make changes.

I know a person whose account was shut down in less than 24 hours after receiving that kind of notice. They are NOT flexible. Don't risk it.
