Adsense + section targeting = $$

Just a quick question, I have seen sites that use section targeting on myspace support sites, that target high paying keywords by writing a paragraph related to whatever they want, and have google ignore the rest of the site for content weighting. Wondering if this is against TOS?

Google made that tag, so it's most definately not against the TOS ^^;; But Google won't ignore the rest of the site, it'll still read it, but put more weight on the section you've targeted.

So, even if you purposely put more weight on unrelated things - they can't ban you for that?

How could it be unrelated? If there was a sentence like "This is a really heated discussion!" for example, and you put the tags around "heated", you wouldn't get ads about the weather because Google still reads the rest of the page - if that makes sense >.< So you can't really have unrelated parts of your page in tags.

But either way, they can't ban you. I'm pretty sure of that.
