Adsense Search

I am thinking of making use of the Adsense Search feature for my site. I don't think it can outperform the text ads, but I hope that with a little tweaking it will produce good results. Anyone willing to give me advice? Perhaps some Adsense Search tips? And, off course, first of all, would it be worth bothering with!

    Thanks!

I have found the search tool to provide little revenue. The payout is not very good either.

My experience is that you're better of without it...

Search revenue for us has been very insignificant compared to adsense revenue.

So I see from my stats. Lots of searches, but hardly anyone clicks on sponsored ads.

I've had good success with it. I get several searches a day and there have been very few clicks, but the rev I've gotten has been quite good.

Correction: Looks like it's nice after all. You just got to convince people to search from your search page. Once they've bookmarked it, you're set.

I have a very high CTR also- 33% and on pages where the search terms pay out nice.

My Criminal Attorney section which is waiting on articles gets quite a bit of quality search traffic.

the cost per click is very high for search, it'll outperform is your users use the search feature a lot
