Adsense search. Use my own textbox and button?

    Can i use my own textbox and button for adsense search. in other words, can i tap into the api?

    as far as I know, you cant modify adsense content.
    Thats what I recall when I first signup with them, reading their tos.
    I may be wrong, tho
