Putting an adsense search bar on a homepage of a school website, my question is will it run into problems since the IP's at the school are all the same. So if the whole school used the search there would be hundreds of the same IP using it.

Google indexes your site for you. Don't think it would be a problem, they might wonder why all the clicks are coming from the same place though.

I think he is wondering whether Google will think it is click-fraud since there will be hundreds of searches originating from the same few ip addresses, and people will probably click the ads.

I see no problem because Google is smart to determine the IP as well as the configuration of the PCs. You will not get into trouble at all. Google doesn't penalize you if you are not attempting any fraud.

That might get Google's attention and it depends on how a site was build along with how the ads we're shown. If a place where all computer's the starting page is a MFA, that would be foul.

Just ask them direct through their adsense forums and in case you have any problems with your account someday, mail them what exactly happened and submit the forum link you have raised the question previously.

i don't think it could cause any problems, because Google is smart enough to find different computers having the same ip.Google not only uses IP address but also screen resolution and several other factors like
    u_h - Visitor's screen height.
    u_w - Visitor's screen width.
u_ah - Visitor's available window height (when you take the screen height and factor the size of the browser window, and space taken by browser toolbars).
    u_aw - Visitor's available window width.
u_cd - Visitor's color depth of their screen.
u_tz - Visitor's timezone shift in seconds from UTC.

you can see more by looking here

Your case will be considered like those of an ISP having shared IP address and many consumers having the same IP address.

Sounds risky to me. Why are you putting it on a school website? to make a few bucks?
