Adsense Scam / Fraud.

I come across atleast 10 guys over a time period of 3 months who added me on yahoo / Gtalk/ MSN chat. Their main goal to exchange adsense clicks in other words Fraud Clicks.

    How they are doing?

    - They add guys on IM
    - They form network as big as they can.
    - Then they ask to exchange clicks.
    - they ask to refresh page few times before clicking
    - They ask to complete action on adsense referrals.

They claim they are able to earn over $1000 per month.

Any one have any solution of Fraud / Scam going around??

I have the same problem, people keep adding me on Yahoo IM & asking for clicks.

I may have a solution to this problem.
We can join them, ask them for links to their websites, make a list & submit it to Google, along with their Yahoo/Gmail/MSN IDs.

Clicks exchange are among the stupid reasons people get banned. I have an extreme tracking unit on my web site and it can track the IP, the source web site, and other impressive data of my visitors. If Google can track conversions and sign-up from a website, they can track clicks exchange too. I reckon they have an automatic software for tracking clicks exchange. Even if they don't have one, the logic is simple: You see A clicking on B's website everyday and B clicking on A's website everyday and A and B gets banned.

These people made me change my yahoo account! because when I opened my account using yahoo messenger, I get tons of Add requests (around 20-25 for each login:(). Now I changed my yahoo ID. They also ask for 10 -15 refreshes to have more impressions!

The simplest solution to this problem is
1: Notify google about them so that they get banned as soon as possible.
2: Improbe your email spam filter for certain kinda posts.

This will surly remove you problems.

I think they will eventually be caught. First step is to keep your email private on DP..

    Google will ban them anyway.
These guys just don't get it - you can't cheat Google.

Google will track user habits, IPs, MACs, OS, resolution, etc.
Google know every single move you make in Internet.

Interesting, I never got such a request....but I am sure that they can't keep this for long.... google should be prepared enough to deal with them... it's just a mater of time.

You'll never get rid of scammers and con artists. I say, don't get involved (even as a detective, s someone else suggested) - might be risky, since you never know if there may already be a "real" detective snooping around, in which case I don't think you'll get a fair hearing :)
IMO, let Google fight its own battles. I am sure they have resources to do it with.

I suggest to just ignore them. I personally try to avoid any contact with Google if possible because I've known people who reported sites and Google ended up banning them.
