Adsense says Your payments are currently on hold.

adsense says:
Your payments are currently on hold. Action is required to release payment.
and it ask for "Please submit your tax information"
"Please enter your PIN"
but as i am indian i don have any US tax id or PIN no. In india we use PAN no which is for filing tax to government. My other indian friends are already getting cheques from adsense without filling up any form in adsense.In my case adsense says your payments are currently on hold.
pls tell me, what should i do now?

 

Dont worry about the tax, thats US only *i think* and the PIN is a new thing. You will have been sent one when you hit $50, if you do not have it yet, you can request a new one, there is a link somewhere on the adSense site for this.

 

Have you asked your friends what they did/are doing?

 

i never got any pin from adsense

 

my frens told they just simlpy signed up the adsense a/c and never submit any tax information or pin no and they are getting cheques.

Hi Dost,
You will have to request google to send u PIN, they hold the payment to confirm your address. Once you receive the PIN by snail mail, your address will be confirmed as well as you can get your check!!

Secondly, your friends could receive payments because they might signed up lot before (atleast 2-3 months). That time, google was not confirming the address by sending PIN.

just now i checked my adsense a/c there its saying we have already sent the pin no on 31'st may. I don know why i haven't got it. I think i will have to request new PIN no.

 

It took two requests and five weeks for me to get my "letter" from google that included my pin and account info. I did have to request for them to send it again and it still took to weeks. (and I live in the states!)
