Adsense ripping off on clicks

    Hi All,

I've been noticing this more and more, and I most likely am not alone, but it seems to me that google is ripping me off on clicks, when it comes to earning per click.

I mean, one site in particular, gets nightlife related traffic: dating, bars, clubs, drinks

How could clicks be .01 to a high .05 cents? I mean I know the traffic to click ratio has an effect, but this seems to me that google is deciding what to pay per click on my site, while still charging the adwords customer the same. It seems unfair as the traffic is good. the site is good. not to mention the traffic is targeted. Google is stuffing their pockets off my adspace. That's how I feel about it.

so WTF? Anyone else feeling ripped off with adsense?

    Thanks

Google does decide what to pay per click - it's called SmartPricing.

If it's so bad, there's always Adzoogle, Yahoo, CommisionJunction and others..

    Hi thanks for your info.

I would use cj if they didn't go and mess everything up. Back a couple years ago, they were awsome... wont use them now.

Not sure how to get into yahoo... I filled out a form with them few weeks ago and never heard back, around the time they were offering $50 free in advertising.

Never heard of adzoogle... check them out...

I think I'm just going to flop adsense ads... In my opinion, it's only working out for them. I will just need to find replacements for those ads.

    thanks

I had the same problem happen to me. It definitely has to do with smart pricing and similar features for advertisers. BUT theres a way to fix it.

Recreate your advertisements and delete the old ones. Yesterday I had 7 clicks and only made 1.25. After remaking the code for my google ads, Today I've had one click and made 1.87. Big difference wish i had done this sooner.

If you want to complain, get 800 clicks for less than 20 dollars. Then you can complain. I'm complaining.

    Its total bs.

One day I get this: 200 cicks - $107 made
The next day: 400 clicks $64 made
    Day 3: 400+ clicks $9 something
    Day 4: 400+ clicks $9 something again...

GOOGLE HAS ALL THE POWER - the other day I had 4 clicks posted on my mybloglog that were google ads, and google did not even count 1 of them. Kind of sucks sometimes

Are you sure the Mybloglog click tracking for AdSense is accurate? There aren't really any other loggers to compare with but as far as I can tell, it is always overestimating the number of clicks compared to Google's tracking. I have never heard of someone say that Mybloglog tracked fewer clicks than Google's official tally.
