Adsense revenue way down

I've been using adsense for years, I was making over $4000 a month for about 2 years straight and since the economy started to crumble I'm lucky to see $1500... is this happening to other people or is it just me?

 

Yes, in the last 3 months my revenue also drop upto 30%. Hopefully it will get better next month and so on.

 

I hope so too, I'm going to drop them and start selling private ads if this keeps up any longer.

 

We dont know why about nowadays everyone is facing %50 dropdown on adsense revenues.

 

people are buying less advertising and using more free methods and seo to drive traffic. Therefore bids are down and our clicks are down. I find that i am getting about the same amount of clicks and about 30% less income..

 

I'll be ditching adsense if it gets any worse.

 

just in one month my adsense income dropped by 40% but the CTR is almost the same.

 

Most of my bidvertiser income + adbrite income has dropped like 25%.

 

Yes, I also noticed some changes in revenues but not that's just 10-15%.

As per the stats you mentioned, your revenues are effected by more than 50%, so there may be some other reasons. I recommend you to:

- Analyze the current trend of your industry
- Current traffic of your website
- Try to change the location of your adsense and make them more prominant.

 

Me also, i've noticed an increasingly bigger dip in US based adsense clicks during winter and the holidays

 

Yes, my son runs a site that used to make $1200. Down around $800 now.
