About the site
Started sometime in March 2009 this site has been performing well and just ticking over with absolutely no maintenance or any time from me. I set it up back last year, built up a few back links and it has since become a well ranking and reasonably well earning site. The site is of course a Batman wallpaper site features wallpapers from the latest movie, The Dark Knight. It runs on WordPress.


Traffic
AwStats shows ~10,000 monthly uniques with almost 20,000 monthly pageviews (click for screenshot). Analytics shows 2,700 monthly uniques and a little under 5,000 pageviews. The reason for the huge difference I assume is that Analytics does not track hits to things like images which on this site is a major factor. With that in mind I think it's safe to assume that the actual overall site traffic is considerably higher than what Analytics is reporting. As well as that, all the wallpaper are server via a subdomain - this subdomain alone is showing over 30,000 hits in AwStats with excess of 20 GB per month in bandwidth (click for screenshot).

Also, if your count Google images as being organic (I sure as hell do) then the majority of the sites traffic comes from search engines. It is ranked on the first page of Google for "the dark knight wallpaper".


Revenue
Site is earning very well through AdSense. At the end of February I added some more ad units and it has almost doubled monthly revenue.

Design
The site runs on WordPress and is using a custom built theme made especially for this site.


Reason for selling
Soon I'll be moving house. I'm selling off some sites to fund the deposit for when I move.
