Adsense Revenue on Videos On Youtube vs Videos on Website?

    Hi eveyone,
    I make videos for youtube and have successfully monetized all of them (for a while) and I do have a website with those videos embedded to bring more traffic to my youtube videos so I can make more money. As it turns out it's just the opposite and I make more money off of my website content ads than youtube instreams all together. Now the question is the following;

    WILL ADSENSE PAY MORE FOR THE VIDEOS ON WEBSITE THAN YOUTUBE (CPC)? SHOULD I UPLOAD THE VIDEOS DIRECTLY ON MY WEBSITE AND HAVE AN EXTRA EMBEDDED ONES JUST FOR THE SAKE OF THE TRAFFIC, OR THE CPC ON VIDEOS ARE THE SAME regardless of website or youtube? HOW MUCH IS THE DIFFERENCE?

    Thank you so much in advance

    Upload to youtube and use the embeded ones is more profitable, more traffic is better.

    Yes, you can use Adsense on video too but you have to follow their terms.

    I think you should do a test run for this issue. First you try the first one for a week and record all the earnings. On the following week, you can use the other strategy. At the end of the month, you can start comparing them and see for yourself which strategy performs very well.

    I want to tell you from my experience ads in video don't make as much money as the text ads in your website

    I make about 0.9$ for 1000\impressions on YT while I earn over 2.5$\1000 impressions and make 1.15$ more while combining the ad network in my sig.
    I don't know why the YT revenue is so low, but it sucks.

    It doesnt matter wheater you upload video on YT or on your site.What matters is origin of your visitors.Adsense pays more revenue to it publishers for visitors from us,uk,sa etc.May be your site enjoy more traffic from these countries whereas YT receives worldwide traffic and usually visitors from india,china etc out number visitors from high revenue generating countries

    It doesn't matter. You show the ads, the visitors click, you get money. It's that simple

    Not sure I understand. It seems obvious to me to embed Youtube videos in your site. Then you earn both directly from YouTube and also with Adsense on your site. Why would you want to take away part of your earnings by not using monetised videos which will get there own traffic on YouTube as well? Everyone should be combining website with Youtube.
