Hello guys, From the past 6 months or so my adsense revenue is going down by 50%. My site is old its been there for over 7 years now and it "was" indexed by google, yahoo and dmoz and its still is by i have no sitemaps or whatever, maybe its because i ignored the website completely in the past one year. Anyways i'd like to share some of the statistics with you guys and probably you could suggest me something that i'm ignoring or that i dont know. page impressions 60,132 clicks 1056 Page CTR 1.76 Page eCPM $2.06 Earnings $123 This is the stats for dec. It used to be the double of the earnings but now i dont make that much from each click, like today i've 26 clicks making $1.44
It's not only you, it's happening to a lot of people. Advertisers are now "smart pricing", it's more like ripping publishers off if you ask me.
My earnings for the last 6 months have had an slight upward turn, but if it makes you feel any better, yesterday (Dec 15) was the worst Adsense day i've had in at least 8 months..
so tearabite what have you done to keep the revenue go up or atleast not let it go down? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
same for me bro here... average traffic 2-3 k CTR - 2-4 % earning drops from $20 per day to $3 -4 ....i felt like shit this week lol...
Keep in mind that AdSense earnings tend to go down this time of year anyway, for an obvious reason. Wait until January, and I can almost guarantee you'll see an upswing.
Holidays sucking here too. i guess most niches do bad during holidays. I always wonder why? Coz people buy in stores rather than online? any thoughts?

Online shops. No, we shouldn't. Online shops - that are powered by affiliate programs usually make a ton in this month.
No i work for an ebay powerseller and our business go down in christmas break and that's because there's so much sales in the stores during boxing day and christmas and new year that most people prefer buying from the stores than from ebay. I am thinking of buying a Digital Picture frame, although i'm a big ebay buyer but i'll buy it from the store because its much cheaper these days in futureshop and bestbuy. Well atleast here in canada.
My earnings for november was very poor but its picking up in december. Will suggest that you make more websites and write new articles for the old sites. try it out and lets know what happen.
