I read in an article that 1 dollar a day is a fair goal for a website with adsence after 6 months. I'm in 1 month now and I'm at 20 cents a day. I was woundering if a dollar a day 6 month is what i should be heading for
Well, it all depends on the niche, but my main goal would be trying to get that website making $20/day in 6 months.
I guess it really depends on how many adsence web sites you have done befor and how google search engine see you. For me, this is my first adsence website and my first website with my own domain name. Knowing a goal is really help when it comes to your confidence
Make a goal, then when you break it (or smash it) make a new one. Don't ever stop reaching for goals, otherwise you will stop earning.
I like your thinking. I'm quite happy getting 20 cents a day now because I know that my site fairly small now and it will grow.
1 buck a day would be nice for me. Those $0.03 clicks I've been getting lately aren't exactly helping. I did get an increase for May though, but it's still so low that it could be a statistical glitch.
Excellent advice for newcomers I always feels that your goal should be to make sites and pages and not how much money you want to earn(atleast for beginners). Instead of setting "I want to get $3 per day after one month", why not set I want to make "100 unique content pages" after one month Best of luck to OP
I'm going to add my 2 cents: "Just keep bulding content of value that your users will appreciate and show others... then the links and revenue will flow. Make sure you are adding value to the Internet, as opposed to wasting the Internet's bandwidth, so to speak!"
I think the best sites start out with 2 major goals and those goals are in order of importance: 1.) Traffic 2.) Revenue At first, your goal should be increasing traffic. Generally the more traffic you get, the more revenue your site will generate. So, if your site is generating 100 page views per day this month, next month shoot for 125 or 150 page views per day. By default, your AdSense revenue should naturally increase as your page views increase.
If you put your mind to it you can achieve $1-5 a day within a week. The site that I did this with is www.masterbrian.com. Check it out, see what you can learn from it. If you have any questions I am willing to help you in any way I can.
My goal was $1 per day and I hit this goal in two weeks with my blog. My new goal is to convert my blog to a website with its own URL by the end of this month. I will hopefully hits this goal by the end of this week or middle of next week
Focus on developing your content, refining your keywords, and the placement of your ads. I improved one of my site's earnings by 40% simply by moving the ads around and playing with the keywords until I found a profitable combination.
Google is killing me. On my main blog that receives a good amount of traffic Adsense only displays public service ads “blog full of content†and my blogspot blog that doesn’t get that much traffic is heavily target with relevant ads. I use to get a decent amount of revenue but now it dropped drastically because of this. So to answer your question, it all depends on Adsense.
