Has anyone had this problem before? I use Yahoo for my PPC campaigns, but as soon as I turn on the campaign and PPC traffic hits my site, my payout on Google Adsense clicks declines by like 75%. If I pause the campaign the following day, my Adsense clicks go right back up to the level they were at before the campaign. Ideas anyone?
Are you sending irrelevant traffic to your site witht he PPC campaign? The CTR depends on the intention of the person visiting your site which is related to the term they searched for. e.g. If they search for "buy widgets cheap" and see lots of Adsense about "Buy Widgets Cheap" - bingo. If they search for "widgets" there could be a million reasons why they entered that term and they only a few will be interested and click on the "buy widgets cheap" adsense. I hope that makes sense.
I think it makes sense... but my PPC campaign is specifically targeted to the content of my site (online college reviews). So, my keywords are things like distance learning, online colleges, etc. Adsense obviously posts ads along the same lines on my page, but I guess I don't understand why that makes a difference.
Maybe you PPC doesn't go along with your site content or the niche that is on your site. Try to use PPC with the correct niche. Like what mentioned, instead of "widget" why not try "cheap widget".
