Thanks, I spent a good share of time developing this application, so it is nice to hear such a comment.
If you test it, please consider writing a testimonial for my site.

Are the earnings updated realtime or delayed?

I liked syssense's name. Can you make a version with a name that is transparent to big brother in the corporate network like winsecure.exe, svcrca.exe, or service.exe?

All values on all screens are realtime! Refreshed in time intervals (depends on your settings), but you can also refresh manually anytime you want.

    Tbarr60,

haha... I understand your concerns :)
Well, I could do this specifically for you, but it would require some time, to rename all instances reffering to exe file, also reworking installer...

I have run it for a few days now and I am really growing to like it,

I guess the final suggestion would be a discount for DP members!
I'll even throw in a testimonial.

Also I would like the check interval to have a couple of more settings seeing as it always runs in the background, maybe 240 and 480 minutes.

I will sell it for us$9.99 (down from us$19.99) to everyone who will write the testimonial of atleast 5 sentences.
This is limited offer and I will need the testimonial to be sent to along with name of the person and website if applicable. Once received, I will send the link to $9.99 purchase screen.
    Sounds good?

if you'd give us a free key I'd link to your site and write a full fledged flattering article on it.

it's really snazzy, but I'm not the kinda guy who shells out for software.

OK...I was skeptical at first, but I decided to download the trial version and give it a try.

It has a nice user interface and clear earnings statements, but it certainly isnt worth $20, or even $9.99. The earnings arent real time, but are infact delayed. I tested by refreshing my page 3 times and waiting 8 or so minutes, and no extra impressions were counted. The extra features are nifty, but isnt worth your money snce it is not really much different than than the google adsense checker

Meh...I expected more. But a good effort...now to change my adsense password :D

In my opinion, offer was pretty good, so please lets not talk about it anymore.
$9.99 is not such a big sum, and it is also 50% cheaper than I am selling it for.
Lets leave this type of discussion. :)

Earnings are real time, meaning the same as you could see on AdSense page.
There is no one except google themselfs to make it more real time than I have it.
Btw. sure, change your password if you feel like... I already explained many times that program is not going anywhere else than your google adsense account. If you do make some claims, why don't you simply test the program, so you can say otherwise.
Anyways, some people like it, some not, some feel like it's expensive, some not. Depense on opionion...
In my opionion it would be expensive for third world countries, but not in North America, where I spent $10 on lunch every day. :)

Ok, as I said, your opinion, I already have couple of users and it's online only for couple of days.
It's not about the sales for me anyways, but it will pay for the time, I could rather spend with my wife, I hope you find a valid point in this claim.
This or that, your opinion, your choice. :)
Have great day and take it easy.

You can use DateTime.ParseExact() to convert to a DateTime. You just have to find the matching format string.
Yeah, this is tricky. I believe all of the reports in AdSense are in Pacific Standard Time (PST) -8 hours from GMT. So if you are reporting in your local time it is not going to match. It might be a better idea to keep reporting in PST.
I would code it something like this:
    ' Get UTC/GMT time
Dim pstDate As Date = DateTime.Now.ToUniversalTime()
' Subtract the PST timezone offset
    pstDate = pstDate.AddHours(-8)
    ' e.g. At 10 AM this is $20 / 10 = $2 per hour
' note that this does not account for minutes in the hour
Dim perHourEarnings As Double = earningsToday / pstDate.Hour

    Code (markup):

    Ross,

I have already changed the date on the main screen with the code you suggsted previously. Thanks so much for the code.

Regarding the other code you sent me now, I will have to amend it somehow. I don't want the date to show in PST, because it might be confusing. But I will have to deal with it somehow in order to have 'average per hour' feature available.

I really appreciate your help. How long do you program in .net?

    Joe

    Hi,
you made me think about this :)
I have decided that I will donate (at the end of each month) 50% from all sales to Red Cross Canada (www.redcross.ca).

This is also stated below "buy now" button and link on program's website.

Confirmation about this will go by email to all users who bought the program.
So you'll pay the same price, but half of it will support something good.

This is my last word and reply regarding this issue. If still not acceptable (now it would cost you only $5), then sorry... your problem :)

Just use that code to calculate the values but display the date in local time.
Umm.. I have been working with .NET since it was first released.

I have a code generation product for .NET if you want to have a look - http://www.radsoftware.com.au/codegenerator/ Let me know what you think :)

Yeah that makes sense..., I don't know what I was thinking about :)
I am going to do that tomorrow though, I am wasted today...
I checked the link you gave me for code generator, seems like very good idea, apparently dealing with databases.
Please PM me or let me know if there is a way to connect to mysql database with .net. I wanted to write some .net app for managing MYSQL databases and never got it to work to connect to mysql and read/write to/from it.
I don't want to discuss that in this topic, but let me know, or by email to: revenuechecker at gmail dot com.
    Thanks for all your help.

    Joe
