I've a relatively new blog, but am up to alexa rank of about 500K. I'm only getting a small number of adsense clicks so far each day. I also have tracking code from mybloglog.com on my site that tracks where visitors come from and what they click on to exit my pages. Long story short, mybloglog tells me I'm getting literally about 8-10 times the number of exit clicks through adsense links than google pays me for. The mybloglog reports look accurate in other areas -- for example, they also count clicks on 'add a comment' links that correspond closely with the number of comments I receive. Why would this tool show so many more clicks on the adsense links that google reports to me. It's a huge difference. Anyone seeing anything similar?
Thanks for the insight. I'm still not convinced the google clicks are accurate. The tool tracks all off-site clicks and I'm certain that most of the other offsite clicks are accurate. For example, it tells me 6 people clicked on the add a comment link and I got 6 comments. It tells me that one person clicked on an Amazon ad and I see from Amazon that they received one click. But with the adsense links, I see like 50 clicks a day - but adsense tells me they got 4-5 clicks. It's literally 90% low all the time. Anyway, it bugs me and I'm looking for something else. Any suggestions?
