AdSense Reporting Off Today Or Is It Just My Earnings?

I looked for other threads, but did not see one.

My all time average CTR is about 5 times higher than I'm seeing today.

That's a huge difference.

It was that higher figure just yesterday.

I'm seeing normal impressions reporting, but the clicks seem to have gone away.

I even checked to make sure the ads were showing and that they were related.

Has this happened to anyone else today?

Is this just my sites (this is across some five mid-sized sites)?

Is it delayed reporting?

Very strange.

 

Their stats are always wacky during the day. Everything gets settled when the day is done.

 

jackburton, thanks for the response, but i watch the earnings several times every day.

i've never seen anything like this. that's why i started the thread.

if i had just one site, or the numbers were closer to a typical day...

but this is across thousand of impressions on mature channels with well-known to googlebot content, etc.

the ads look right. and the impression reporting looks right.

but the CTR is in the toilet.

i guess you are not seeing the same thing on your end.

 

Yesterday they were behind on my CTR for several hours but they caught up at the end of the day. I only knew because the number of impressions vs. my page views was WAY out of proportion.

or it was just a really really bad day.

 

My stats were really screwy today, it didn't show accurate information at all.

thanks for adding another data point but sorry your numbers are off too.

 

Mine have been fine for today - coming in as usual.

 

It has it's ups and downs. For the most part I find it quite accurate.

just to update, full day numbers from yesterday were still down in the basement. i'm baffled.

not looking great so far today either.

my average ctr is based on over a year of data so it is pretty valid.

an unhappy surprise for sure.

 

You're not alone aeronautic, my my ctr today less than a third of average, usually i get about a half my daily earning 4 hours after start day. but today I can't even get 25% of it.

today's numbers are trending per yesterday again.

same traffic (counted by my server and AdSense) but very very low CTR out of nowhere.

 

lol today I earned 0$ with all my sites...

 

hey twin, thanks for feedback.

i don't want to know what $$$ you normally make, but what percentage drop in CTR you have seen.

and please don't tell me the actual CTR - that may be a TOS violation which is why i've never posted or asked for the actual number - just the changes from normal expressed as percentages: up 10%, down 50%, etc.

i'm just trying to figure out if there is something wrong with my account reporting. something sure does seem wrong from here.
